After years of a mediocre online presence I have grown sick of myself.  I don’t think it’s related to what I write, what I post, my political leanings or any of those common topics that make an online persona what it is.  I don’t think it’s my online persona per se.  I am just sick of myself, in all areas of my life, online and off.  So, with some hesitation I will be removing all of my various blogs over the next few days to weeks.  I may re-emerge in some manifestation but at this point I could not tell you what that manifestation will be.  I blame recent life events for this identity crisis, as I’ve labeled it.  I no longer really know who I am or who I want to or should be.  Some things will never change and that is my dedication as a father.  I will always love my children with all of my heart and will never cease to be everything that they deserve.  To be honest, my children are, what I consider to be, my one saving grace.  Loving them, and being loved by them, has made some pretty tough situations survivable.  However, every other aspect of who I am is fair game. It’s time to make a change, for better or worse. I don’t really know if anyone reads this blog anymore but if there are any passers by, farewell…  Thanks for stopping by.  Maybe our paths will cross elsewhere in the future.

Back Online

So, I decided to let my domain name and hosting contract expire because my schedule does not currently allow me to write frequently. I am a little sad because there were a lot of posts written that had significant meaning to me and now they will all be lost. However, I will now work to resurrect this blog for the sake of having somewhere to post my thoughts. Scienceofbehavior is now officially back online. I hope I can succeed in turning this meager site into the vision I had for it so long ago. I guess time will be the the judge of that.

Stay tuned for more…

It’s been a while since I posted on this blog.  I have been working on a site that I have put together from scratch and although there is a long way to go and a lot of work that needs to be done, I must say that it is coming along nicely.  I have missed this blog though and hope to continue posting to it as often as I can.  There is a certain familiarity, comfort and nostalgia that I associate with this site as it is my very first cyber-endeavor.  Please feel free to stop in at my new site Cultural Extremes for a peek. If you like what you see, feel free to become a member of the community, which is both free and easy. Remember that it is a work in progress and will improve infinitely with the continued participation of registered members.
